The guy leaning against the motorcycle is my grandfather.

I just love this picture, shot somewhere in the 30s.

Unfortunately I never met him, (he died when my mom was 15 years old)

and nobody ever asked him what the joke is with the 

"Yes, we have no bananos".

Probably just poor english, but still ????

And what about the mens bag, the high up socks and barrette?

In this century quit feminine, but he still looks very manly :-)
