Little treasure
This is an English tea set I bought while strolling around the streetmarkets on Queensday here in Amsterdam about 6 years ago.
I carried it with me the whole day, making sure it did not brake.
It is by the brand Broadhurst Staffordshire Ironstone est 1847 England. It does not exist any more but when you google you can find a lot on Ebay.
This china makes me feel like sophisticated English royal. You know, the ones in those beautiful costume films.
But not black tea with lemon or with milk...no no no I am a green jasmin tea lover.

Hello Spring!
I love an easy do it yourself (DIY) project.
Brought the spring 'IT' colors into my home, by painting a small side-table (i found for €2,50 at a recycle store) and an old stool.
I chose to combine white with a minty-pistache and it worked out quite well.

Christmas at home...
Every year I am thinking of changing the color of my Christmas tree,
but I am still so in love with some of the decorations.
The dress and moon are by Victor & Rolf and the lovely handmade mermaid
(the only color in the tree) are all gifted by girlfriends (who know me very well :-)
So I'll stick with my white tree again this year....
In the star frame a picture of my son 1 day old and the first Christmas card I got this year is by Vanilia.
I hope you can celebrate Christmas with your loved ones

I had a very inspiring day at work today.
The location, the house,the garden,the people and the lovely hostess of the location.
She is a great interior decorator, gardner and artist.
I bought a second painting from her today... Tineke Boontjes
I am so happy and every time I look at it, it reminds me of her house and the whole feel of it.
Lightning, sunshine, freshness, air, inspiration, creativity and love.

Location house inspiration
Yesterday I worked on location (which I LOVE) in one of my favorite houses.
Everywhere you look there is something nice to see.
The lady of the house makes pretty cushions, little birds, tea hats etc... from old fabrics and blankets.
The brand is called TJILP
